Equity helps everyone. Texting was invented to assist deaf and hard of hearing people communicate and it’s something we all use daily now!

Now I desperately wish I could list sources but I’m a disabled bean running on low energy 70% of the time, so unfortunately I cannot at this moment

Be upright, walk for long distances and/or cannot reach the switches that exist in our infrastructures. Using “smart” technology to turn on and off lights, adjust them and or to turn on music etc, is incredibly useful for many disabled people.

Now! I want to be clear about something: I specify generative AI, because of accessibility!

AI- which usually is a misnomer anyways- can help a non-verbal individual be able to communicate effectively, can help little people, people in wheelchairs and people who cannot or should not

Because they are inherent, just as errors are inherent and inevitable in anything someone in our world makes. Yes that includes us artists, but we can LEARN from our ignorance and do our best to not make that mistake again

- the arts lose the ability to be emotional, to let people improve, to let people LEARN and FEEL- an AI cannot learn from its biases

people’s access to clean water!

- It steals from artists, writers, and other creatives. Technology shouldn’t be replacing the creatives industry, it should be giving the creatives a way to be able to continue to create- like art programs!
