Bruh, you’ll never guess this; but this is meant to be the back of the card. So like, if someone were to print these cards out and make them legit cards, this would be what would be on the back. Cuz it’s card back. card noun a piece of thick, stiff paper or thin pasteboard, in particular one used for writing or printing on. This card was actually completely coloured. I thought it would look more detailed as a Black & White card if I had coloured it first. I think it worked well. Say “Hi” Pikachu. He’s a little shy… I like Pikachu Libre. I think she’s cute in her lil costume. It’s like when you see a lil’ puppy wearing a raincoat. I also picked her to colour over regular Pikachu cuz there was more colour in her clothing. It just felt right.

This set was originally going to be Eeveelutions, but I thought it would get too boring using nine Pokémon over the space of 18 picture cards. 🤷‍♂️ whatcanyado. Shout out to my homegirl Kat for this. She suggested I do Zorua & Zoroark for this, as they’re her favourites. And she suggested I add the second Zorua so it marches on into the two Zoroarks in the Queen of Spades nicely. Thanks Kat. You’re a real one. This card (Queen of Spades) is meant to be the unluckiest card in the deck, so I think it’s fitting Zoroarks go here. This is just a nice Umbreon. :) He looks nice, huh?

This was actually the first one I drew. I woke up after a 2pm nap & I had a dream about playing cards with Pokémon on them. So I drew this Ralts & thought to myself “Jesus Christ, I’ve got a long road ahead”. That road is now over, and these cards are the product of three weeks of work. I can say I’m pretty proud fr. I started drawing the rest of the Gardevoir evolutions after watching “Black Swan”. It’s a good movie. And all I could think about was these evolutions in ballet poses. Here’s Kirlia’s pose mid “penché” I believe? If I’m wrong, feel free to correct me; I’m as dense as a post when it comes to ballet. I’m not even going to pretend to know what position Gardevoir was in for this. I spent twenty minutes looking through ballet positions trying to find what this one is, and at this point I’m giving up. She looks pretty though. Proud of these ones. See? In this one Gallade is just preparing to beat you up & take your lunch money. This I can both relate to & explain. See you’re in possession of fourteen dollars worth of milk money, & Gallade wants that so he can go to the Servo & buy some Red Bull to drink & pretend he’s an adult, but he’s actually still in Year 9 & he’s gonna have the same temperament for the next seventeen years, much to the chagrin of his future wife that he’ll almost certainly marry at age 19.

Fun Fact: This lil’ Vulpix card is called a “Beer Card” (7 of Diamonds). If you were to hold this card at the end of the night, you have to buy your buddy a Beer; look it up. It’s legally binding. Now, this Mismagius card is called “The Curse of Scotland” (9 of Diamonds). Named so, as every ninth ruler of Scotland was said to be a Tyrant. Ain’t history interesting? No? Yeah whatever; you’re the one who clicked on the “Alt” for a drawing. Who’s the loser now, huh? I just wasted a full twenty seconds of your lifespan. What’re you gonna do about it huh? I’ll tell you what: Nuthin’. You made your choice by clicking on the Alt. Every decision you’ve made is your own. I’m like the Devil; I didn’t force you to make this decision, I just gave you temptation. Suck on that. And you just wasted another twenty seconds reading this, too. As Charlie Sheen once said: “Winning”.
