It reminds me of the time I ran into a CUSD superintendent and told him I may want to teach in Carmel one day. I was starting at Rancho San Juan, the new high school in Salinas. He said it was great that I'd started teaching and was happy I was getting to practice on Salinas kids.

Pandemic-era legal loopholes to enable "distance" learning have somehow led to the #MontereyCountyOfficeOfEducation saying that MPUSD teachers' salaries budget percentage is on par with CUSD's... ahem... that may be true... IDK... but MPUSD students deserve better.
