Hey Pinterest! If you're out there, please add a "no AI" option. I want to see real suggestions. My feed is so littered with AI junk that it's almost useless at this point for anything new. It's sad.

Kids of readers, read. The opposite is true. With so many diversions that are designed to distract, it's no wonder. "Many adults don’t know how to read, or read only at a primary school level, and it’s getting worse. “A major focus must be in investing in educating entire families.”
Adult illiteracy may be one reason students can’t read - The Boston Globe
My experience as a tutor leads me to believe that the country needs to invest in the education of students’ parents.

I needed a D&C after my miscarriage. These laws really hurt women and demonstrate a lack of expertise about women's reproductive health.
More women have nearly bled to death during miscarriage under Texas’ abortion ban.

Experts say the trend paints a troubling picture of the harms of unnecessary delays in care.

“This is striking,” one doctor said. “The trend is very clear.”
A “Striking” Trend: After Texas Banned Abortion, More Women Nearly Bled to Death During Miscarriage
A new ProPublica data analysis adds to the mounting evidence that abortion bans have made the common experience of first-trimester miscarriage far more dangerous.

And if you want to get biblical about it, egalitarian societies align with the Christian directive to treats others as you would have them treat you.

Been watching young men/trad wives content trying to understand their perspective but I ask, would people in the structure gladly swap roles with everyone else? If yes, it's egalitarian and fair. If not, it's oppressive and not practical for the greater society nor the rule of law.

What the king wants, he gets. The repercussions of this are going to be awful. But let's not forget the enablers.
With ICE's *enormous* new budget and its ability to hire *many* more agents, the United States is about to enter an era of brutal domestic terrorism that we've never seen before.

Donald Trump and the Republican Party officially sold out working people.

Every single Republican now owns the fact that 17 MILLION people will lose health care.

Every Republican now owns the fact that grocery costs will go up.

We cannot let them forget this.

Saturday's open house event on Elfreth's Alley, a unique opportunity to enjoy period music and tour the inside of some of the private homes on the alley, went really well! I manned the dress-up attraction and was really surprised that people put stuff on in humidity and heat.

AI bots really illustrate the old saying "Garbage in, garbage out" and are only as good as the people who are behind the data. That said, I am curious about the Jane Austen bot that was entirely trained on her novels. Certainly that must produce elegant and appropriate conversations.
