I hope it helps and if it does then I recommend printing or headwritting the entire thing on a piece of paper or a few and taping them to a wall next to your desk or bed for an easy accesibility, so you won't ever ran out of ideas after this one!~ ^w ^

Drawing the visible emotions of characters based on their characteristics is an extremely awesome idea, and you should implement it for non-repetative character traits making the scenes looking much more lively.

Or to give of an less creepy example is to draw a newspaper of Kyubey dying due to cringe placed in the middle of the image and on the right side you can see all the characters celebrating with the birthday caps and huge cake with their respective smiles on their faces.

To give of an example of which, is to draw a Madoka, Sayaka and Mami drinking tea together somewhere in the back on the right side of the scene, whereas you have a look at her apartment and you see Homura observing their meeting outside the window on the left side.
