I am a Japanese immigrant in Norwich, UK and have a penchant for bands that sing three-part harmonies.
I did not know Mont-bell had opened in the UK! I’m not particularly outdoorsy but their stuff would be perfect for the UK weather.

Got my violin out for the first time in over a year. Then googled to find out the big Yamaha shop in Shibuya had closed down in 2010. Was gonna throw away the dust cloth as it’s more than 30 years old and disgusting but decided against it for nostalgia’s sake.

Watching Wings’ Back to the Egg TV Special on YouTube. It’s making wonder - what other bands have filmed a music video in a rapeseed field? I can only think of a super niche one: Orange - Judy Over the Rainbow youtu.be/UjRzr7p0reU?... #paulmccartney

Saw Paul McCartney last night. It was my third time seeing him. 1st time - 1993, as a high schooler, travelled alone to Tokyo Dome. 2nd time - 2003, in London, with husband whom I married a year before. 3rd - 2024, at the O2, with husband and 2 daughters, one of whom is an adult! Grateful.

After 4 days in Kansai, I’m back in Kanto. Feels good to be on the home turf.

Went to the London premiere of the new Devo documentary, with a remote Q&A with the band afterwards. Their story was really well told in funny and moving ways, making full use of loads of archival footage and interviews old and new. Do catch it when it appears on streaming services!
