I'm writing a novel. It's a bit slasher, a bit sci-fi, and a bit 90/2000s teen movie.
It's set in Roswell, and I've never had as much fun as looking up stuff about the damn cool town!
I've got the book in my head like it was a TV show. This stage of the creative process brings me so much happines 🫶

If you’re starting out as a screenwriter, my advice is to stretch this “dreaming” phase out as long as possible. Let the movie appear in your head before you try to transcribe it to the cold and clinical computer screen. And have fun diving into research - it ALWAYS results in something interesting.

Yesterday I landed my first kickturn 🛹 And I finally rode down that hill that used to scare the hell out of me like ten times. Plus, I hadn’t skated in three weeks because the skatepark was closed. Feeling so damn proud right now 😭🔥

Finally saw "Insidious" in theaters for a horror classics retrospective.
First time ever seeing it on the big screen (I was too young in 2010). Huge thanks to @conanthecontrarian.bsky.social, "Insidious" still hits me just as hard today (read: I was scared out of my mind).

Just saw (and loved) “Final Destination Bloodlines.” It's a great revival of the saga. The deaths were incredibly inventive, and Erik Campbell was clearly the scene-stealer in this film.

Just saw (and loved) “Final Destination Bloodlines.” It's a great revival of the saga. The deaths were incredibly inventive, and Erik Campbell was clearly the scene-stealer in this film.
