The dryer was running to drown out their voices, and Hirotsu was waiting outside. He remembered Dazai’s cracked lips against his, his hand on his lower back, the other cradling his face. So close, but not close enough. He remembered clinging to Dazai’s collar, pulling him in, and the bastard’s grin—too pleased with himself. Too sweet, Dazai liked his drinks overly sugary. And a little metallic, patience was something they still needed to work on.
