Late Night Loading 🌠
Special thanks to @Zero4567 for sponsoring this commission, featuring his girl Shimizu, who's preparing for a night beneath the starts, while my character Mace takes notice.. It's the night before the Grand Prix trial run, and Shimizu's already arrived at the starting gate. She's excited to race, having packed all of her essentials to ensure she's got everything she needs for an early start. A backpack with snacks, drinks for hydration and energy, a pillow and blanket, for when the sunset finally darkens the sky.... and of course her gear, White Angel. Meanwhile, a miniature bat scuttles across the lot, toting a ratty duffel bag and a wrench. He's here in search of somewhere to hide out, hoping to ambush any newbie foolish enough to leave their gear unattended while they wait. He spots her instantly. It would only take a moment to disassemble a board like hers. While she's sleeping, he'd take a few pieces and disappear into the night. No one would notice a thing... Hopefully she's a sound sleeper. Thanks again for trusting me with your character and Shimizu's design. I enjoyed working with her!

Missing you so bad right now, I could just...
Officer Thanatos has a nasty habit of vanishing without a trace. Often without any warnings or notices. One moment he's here, offering sweet words while he rifles through the kitchenette cabinets. The next, he's gone--off performing whatever heroic acts the G.A.T needs him to do. While Amelia's never minded waiting for her boyfriend at home, extended absences make her a little... stir-crazy. She does manage it well at aleast, putting herself to work crafting the most elaborate treats to mirror her desires. Her little Thermo cookie came out perfect. Dark chocolate with spicy cinnamon candies, and a sweet fruity filling. She can't wait to show him. He's not answered any of her other texts, but maybe fate'll smile down on her, and he'll find a spare moment to check-in. Maybe knowing she baked him something so special will lure her roaming tomcat back home. He always loves her desserts.

He's hunched over a handful of documents, flexing scarred fingertips as he reaches for a newly-brewed cup of coffee. It's bright and early as his shift begins. He's suddenly filling in for a co-worker on an assignment to Emeraldville Acres, a settlement set aside for those whose choices put them on not-so-solid ground. His job is to assess the residents, but ever since his arrival, he's had a nagging pressure in his chest. Like heartburn, but somehow more solemn. He's got a bad feeling about this place and can't quite place why... but it feels familiar. He's no idea that he's been quietly surveilled for the last few minutes. A pair of green eyes watches him fumble through a new disability, attempting to grip the heated mug without re-burning his fingertips. Nettle shrinks back behind a wall before she's discovered hiding there. It feels like it's been an eternity-- and though he looks different in that unsightly uniform, she'd recognize Briar beyond what he looks like today. Beyond the eye bags, the greying quills, and the new bangs, she knew her brother. After all she'd been through, would he still know her? Thanks again for commissioning me Chin. It's pretty late, and Amelia's just about to close up the Sweet Soiree when a special guest comes swaggering through the door. His name's Jaun. He's a green anteater with an order to pick up--and he recognizes a fan when he "sees" one. They have a short conversation about his band's upcoming tour, and Jaun's right- the pink hedgehog knows a little bit about their tour and where they're headed. As she fills him in with the latest news, Jaun slips a shirt over the counter and pays her for the order. Amelia's eyes grow wide. It's so wild seeing them back to back like this.
A showcase of two pictures-- one from 2019, the other from 2024 depicting my artistic improvement throughout the years. Both pictures feature my character Chrysante in an Angel Dust cosplay, but as expected, the 2024 variant is a LOT nicer. As much as I hate looking at my old art, it always fills me with pride to see how far I've come.

Her costume design revolves around her innate Aberration-- an interesting ability that, in her case, allows her to absorb and imbue sunlight. Her hooded top, baggy "hammer" pants, and bright yellow goggles keep her identity and body mostly concealed while highlighting her starry motif with orange, gold, and scarlet tones. Vance was a tough nut to crack... Of everything they'd done and every boundary they'd tested together, Vance was always very firm with his "no kissing" rule. Whenever the civet would so much as hint at getting or planting a kiss, the answer was just always and simply "no." Chrysante wouldn't force it-- not that he really could--but he'd really come to want that kiss. It felt like a challenge somehow, and he was never one to pass up the opportunity to impress. No matter how long it took, one day he'd get that kiss. And he'd give his boyfriend a reason to retire the rule for good. The two tongue-tied couple Chrysante the Civet and Vance the hyena.

Chrysante Noxus is a self-proclaimed social media influencer, proud of his ever-growing sphere of influence and the great effort he endures to maintain it. He prioritizes his physical appearance and online reputation above all else. Often called arrogant by those who know him intimately, Chrysante loves to hear himself speak and tends to stroke his ego in polite conversation. Early submersion into the dramatic arts lends heavily to Chrysante's role as a social chameleon and very capable mimic. He skillfully utilizes his talents and social networks to take advantage of nepotistic opportunities as they present themselves. He is sly and artful, utilizing a silver tongue to earn favor or bluff his way into it. Here, Chrysante's featured with his companion Tinker, in both a full and miniature character reference. These references depict a few phases of his life, his super form, two expressions, and both his parents, alongside a host of trivia that might make drawing or depicting him more helpful. Something something... species swaps?
Saw a trend going around where everyone was swapping species for Sonic characters. I didn't see many Sonics or many Tails swaps, and though its been a while since I drew any official characters, I wanted to give it a shot. Sonic's a freedom-loving Eagle, Tails's is a resourceful Chicken!

Since the day Chrysante's chest fuzz started growing in, there was a fascination with it, or rather what lay underneath the furry mass. While he was never one to really clear up the rumors he'd overhear about himself, he'd gone from having full-on breasts, to having three nipples in the span of a week. His chest fur was a frequent topic of conversation over the last few days, and as funny as it may have been to some, the idea that he would be carrying around a wire under there was simply too much. He needed to set the record straight. A rumor like that was career suicide. So, he employed the assistance of a trusted confidant... one who wouldn't be surprised by the revelation of Chrys's bare chest to take the photo. With a disgrunted snort, the civet lifts his chest fur up and out of the way, exposing the nothing that everyone had so much to say about, and the ugly scar that he'd been fortunate enough to hide beneath it. "Nothin to see here. No breasts, no extra nipples.. and no fuckin' wires."
