Reading became infinitely better when I decided that life is too short to spend forcing myself to read books I am not vibing with. Once you're out of school, reading shouldn't be a chore.

Even if, does someone who isn't healthy deserve to die? Plenty of ways to not have good health through no fault of your own. Even if it is somehow your own fault, you still don't deserve to die because you don't get your steps in or don't drink enough water.

I HATE this. Surely it can't be that hard to have a simple website with your menu, hours and some photos.

I mean, today they were all around a grain of rice in sauce and I bet it was like the best day ever for them. They were running to tell their friends. I'd feel monstrous if I interrupted. After work the rice was gone.

We've become so pop culture-brained its degrading how we communicate with each other. I have family members who just quote things at me out of nowhere in real life too and I can't even respond to it. Just give that raised eyebrow smile of awkward acknowledgement and try to change the subject fast.

Instagram was my fave way to follow artists and sort of a picture diary for myself. My only followers were friends and family but I liked going back and looking at my photos and reliving those memories. I like Bluesky, but I don't think its going to fulfill that online "journal" itch for me.

I remember being afraid to get the shot when I was a teenager because I was afraid people in my community would find out and call me that. Surprisingly it was my super-duper christian mother who pushed me to go get it. The slut fear mongering was rampant.
