I needed to find something to use up the rest of the container of heavy cream I used for the chicken stew the other day (why can’t I find half pint containers anymore?!). So, I decided to make Cheddar Apple Scones.

Success! The chili is nice and spicy, but not melt your face off spicy. The butternut squash added a little sweetness. 10/10 would make my chili this way again!
Cooked chili in the slow cooker. Chili plated in 2 flat bowls, topped with cheese, sour cream, scallions, and lime juice.

There’s a vat of chili in my future! I deviated from my usual because I had a butternut squash to use, so I added that. Also, the chilies are slightly modified. This time, I used: 1 poblano, 2 green jalapeños, 2 red jalapeños, and a red habanero. Smells good in here already!
Slow cooker filled with chili waiting to be cooked. The aforementioned 6 chilies before I chopped them up.

Tonight #Dinner was butterflied & griddled hotdogs topped with scratch made Pico de gallo, and served with my scratch made potato salad, and sautéed fresh corn, zucchini, and bell pepper.

Is anyone else having issues with #GoogleMaps this morning? My roads look like someone took a giant highlighter to them.
