Architect & father running for U.S House in Michigan's 1st District because I believe that your basic needs - healthcare, housing, living wages, and dignified retirement - should be treated as human rights. That isn't radical. 🌹 blomquistforcongress.com
We deserve so much more from our government. All the rest is just noise.

While I'm running as a Democrat, whether you voted blue, red, green, or otherwise I want your basic needs to be met, to have a life defined by comfort, joy, and discovery, not toil, stress, and precarity.

I want my neighbors in Northern Michigan to know that a better world is possible.

Glass-half empty: this speaks to the tribalism in our politics - the petty, team-sports bullshit that has divided us against ourselves and our own best interests.

Glass-half full: this speaks to our campaign's focus on building class-consciousness, preaching prosperity, and avoiding partisan traps.

This happens in just about every room, blue or red, whether there are 3 people or 30.

Intrigued conservative voters like the message, but not the party affiliation.

Even enthusiastic progressive Democrats are hesitant without knowing for certain that I am on Team Blue.

Thanks for spreading the word!

Our campaign is focused on drastically improving the lives of working-class Americans. That includes passing Medicare for All, housing first policy, living wages, universal PTO, increasing SS benefits, and funding domestic goods, not war or war crimes abroad.

This system is exploitative by design, prioritizing corporate profits over quality and affordability of care. Americans deserve to join the rest of the world by having their healthcare treated as a human right.

It's time to pass Medicare for All.
