Oh, if you want an alternative, I know @jessothomson.bsky.social is running one as well.

You were on it, I've taken you off of it and offer my apologies. You were also on my list of people to take off of it, so hopefully that's a sign I'm close to fixing this.

Idk, I think we've had examples of every sort going wrong but I'm in no position to be snotty at the moment. What's really needed are good tools for rollback in addition to execution, nevermind dealing with lists at scale.

Lists sometimes seem sticky to change, so I'll go through my followers at least once more to make sure you're not on the list before making any more updates.

Going forward, the most obvious fix is to write and follow a checklist for updating the list, which I should have done to start with.

That actually did help, I was being amazingly dense.

Alright, cool. I'll look into it, probably gonna take me a bit. Thanks for the response.

I am starting to wonder if you understand the words you're using.

That's perfectly understandable but, nevertheless, if there are problems with the list I would very much prefer to fix them. Perhaps you could spread that message as well?

The list is only modified by using blockenheimer to add people or by me manually moving them to another list, or removing them upon request.
December 7, 2024 at 7:41 PM
That's not how it works. The people I follow have followed jesse singal. I removed those people from the main list and put them on the grey list. Following people prevents blockenheimer from re-adding them to the main list because it checks for your followers as it creates the list to block.

You should use the tool. You can add users to any moderation list.

Hi Scott, the list is generated against the followers of \jessesingal.com using blockenheimer.click, has a complementary grey list, and provides a method to request removal from the list. If you have examples of false positives or accounts that have not followed js dot com, please let me know.
December 7, 2024 at 7:21 PM
This list was generated using blockenheimer.click against the Followers of the jessesingal dot com bluesky user account. If you've got a list of people to remove, I'm more than happy to do that. I'll also try to check that I haven't accidentally added accounts js follows or something like that.
