I recently started picking up trash on my 4 mile walking course. Feels good to make the area better! I'm sure you feel the same way. It's too bad more people don't care enough to not litter.

My husband and I got our measles booster today at Costco. Fortunately, our crappy Blue Shield insurance covered it! No out-of-pocket cost. We are in that age range that the CDC recommended get boosted.

I went to CVS and they were going to charge about $150. Called Blue Shield and they said to have a well-woman visit and get the doc to prescribe then it would be covered. I think I'll just go to Costco. I think the cost there is about $105. Still not free, but better than $150.

I read somewhere if you were born 1957 or later and don't have proof of immunity, you should get the MMR vaccine. I went to CVS and requested the shot, and the pharmacist looked at me as if I had two heads. The cost was going to be $150. I need to make appt with primary to have them request it.

My husband turns 62 this year. We were really looking forward to him being able to apply for and receive his social security after all these years of working. I can't believe that all of this is happening right now :-(

I am a property owner with Section 8 tenants. I'm not going to kick out my tenants if I don't receive the HUD portion, but I can't imagine what's going to happen if this drags on with no payment indefinitely. People should be able to be housed and fed without threats like this :-(
