And then there's the classic CO2 is good for plants. The report notes that certain crops die at levels below 140 ppm...despite nobody is advocating we get CO2 down to those levels?

The report says it relies on literature published since 2020 "as much as possible" yet opens its attribution chapter citing two old IPCC. It takes 13 pages to get to the most recent IPCC and it omits the sentence in bold from that report www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/w...

There's also no way philanthropy will be able to step in to fill all the gaps (and there are signs some funders may not even want to due to the chilling effect of Trump's attacks on universities, law firms and other sectors)
