Some work on the battle UI and mechanics! #gamedev #godot4

I completely reworked the assets, managed to fix movement in manner that it now snaps into the middle of the square, and I fixed issues with the collisions. All this in a week! I feel accomplished ^^

Now it is more roomy! But sadly I need to still refine this from code side of things. I guess I need to hit the youtubes....

Well, aside from collision bugs, it is some sort of rudementary dungeon. But I do have to iron out these kinks first before going forward.

Now: More animated version!

And now we are turning as well as strafing! I guess this is as good as excuse to try to create something more interesting to look at for exploring and basis for UI testing #GameDev #Godot4

Beginings of Grid Based movement. I nicked the recipe for this from KidsCanCode (kidscancode.org/godot_recipe...) and used 3D nodes instead. Time to add rotation onto the mix to see how I can make it work. #GameDev #Godot4
