Man, speaking of Mods and Reaper, there was this Keyblade wielder overhaul mod for RPR that got me to play the job. It was kinda rough, but man I wish something like that was around in Dawntrail.

You should absolutely do it! I will note that the ears that come with the Moogle Mod don't have a gradient, but always match your skin tone. I use the "Vierlala" ears, which match your hair and also include a little puffball tail.

also, the ZZ/FAZZ is the MS equivalency of the "$70,000 Pickup Truck" meme. Stupid huge, too many features for its own good, and explicitly designed to run other MS off the road at the detriment of everything else.

Anaheim going back and forth between scamming PMCs with GMs with Gundam heads and making "Super-Suits" that broke down if used longer than the 20 minutes needed for commercial shoots is exactly the sort of Ford/Hyundai nonsense I desire.

Thought: The GP03 is unfit for actual combat deployment, but rather being the MS equivilent of a Supercar that Anaheim deploys to show off to investors. Hence why it's stuffed inside a massive weapons platform when it's forced to deploy in live combat because god forbid they realize it's a bit shit.

Also think about Mobile Suits. Machines like that need to be able to take a LOT of abuse. a 360 Panoramic Cockpit might look good, but it takes literal decades of technological buildup to get that to the point where anything even vaguely resembling CCA isn't reserved for extra special MS.

It's also one of the only upgrade sets that I can think of where the company had to make a robot to go with it due to its overwhelming popularity. iirc it started as a core robot for a Nova Prime and got back-ported to the Battle Tanker upgrade.

This thing has one of the coolest upgrade kits ever put to plastic. Maketoys Battle Tanker.

Even with the large addons of Star Gaogaigar, the robot is so bottom-heavy that it really doesn't add all that much trouble to his balancing. The only time I think it ever gets Problematic is with Goldymarg, but you're putting an entire extra robot on one side. What did you expect?

Anaheim had a monopoly over MS Development after the OYW and they feature-creeped their MS to make them bigger and more expensive because both sides of every conflict HAD to buy from them. MS went from 18m to 20m to nearly 25m. SNRI bucked the trend in UC 0109 with the Formula Project and the F90.

Depending on the kind of "Futuristic" you want to build, you could always gun for something more akin to 1950s Utopic Futurism, like what Astro Boy 2003 did. Big, Round, Thriving, and despite being almost entirely artificial, organically encourages you to want to explore.

Everything will end up a fair bit washed out, even without the backscreen. This is why a lot of GBA games rarely, if ever used shades of grey, opting instead for purples or blues
It looks fine on an emulator, but on an actual screen, it blends far too well with the backgrounds and becomes very muddy

You can pick 3 series to gain bonus EXP and Money from every kill as well as having their upgrades uncapped to 15 pips including weapons.
The fewer units a series has, the higher the bonus EXP/Money bonus is. Any series with 1.5x is a one-unit series, while 1.2x means there's a LOT of units.

There *is* a fourth option if you use cheats though. And it's kinda frickin' broken. It's supposed to be your NG+++ mech, but nobody has the patience to do 3 playthroughs for a single mech.

He's a super fun fiddling toy. his truck mode is pants, but that's not why you buy him. You buy him because he's got ALL the articulation.

Buffalo Crash is honestly my second favorite Metal Cardbot. My first is Rock Crush, an anxious mole who turns into one of the few Drill vehicles that actually makes sense at a glance (by the simple fact that the drill is large enough to let the vehicle behind it pass through)
