Shallot harvest today! Planted individual bulbs in October in my 7a Northern New Jersey garden. Covered with thick layer of leaves in December, weeded around the growing stalk in spring, cut off scapes in June and dug them up today. Now I can eat some fresh and dry the rest for storage.

A trio of snowdrops. Not a bulb that’s had much success in my yard, so I’m delighted this one has multiplied.
