The score by jonsi and Alex somers is soft, warm and sweet, a perfect description of the film as a whole. 8/10

Within them. Brendan Fraser does an amazing job in this film, playing a man who‘s passions both for his career and his personal life drive him to make other people’s lives better. Shannon mahina Gorman gives the film even more heart, playing a girl who makes the film feel even warmer.

The film improved on the musical in one major way, and that is removing the ableist implications of nessarose’s storyline. Marissa bode does a genuinely great job as nessarose, giving her a good mix of wanting love and doing wicked things to achieve that love. 5/10

Lauded after the song. Jonathan Bailey also truly delivers in this film, his vocals were powerful throughout the film. Michelle yeoh does a mostly good job throughout the film but I do not think she handled Madame morrible’s singing all that well.

We debated the film for ourselves. Vahid mobasseri is absolutely incredible in this film, I can’t wait to see where his career Goes. Mariam ashfari is equally good, with the entire ensemble cast delivering some truly exemplary performances in this exemplary film.

Bud is absolutely adorable and badass, I want merchandise of this character so I can hug bud. The other creatures on genna are also super duper extra cool and I want to own figures of all them as soon as I humanly can. 9/10

Elle fanning is also amazing in her dual role as thia and Tessa, two sisters who parallel the familial relationships in dek’s life. Thia in particular is very charming and charismatic and I can’t wait to see even more of her and the wolf clan.

Charles dance has a brief but memorable role as a young victor’s very strict father. Christop waltz adds some flavor to the film as victor’s mysterious benefacto while the character of William merges the character of the same name and victor’s friend Henry clerval. 8/10
