I blink, therefore I am.
Those ARE the same English translations that say Alph has "many children".

This makes sense. In the Japanese version of Pikmin 3, Brittany is likewise reminded of her aunt's dignified appearance by this same fruit (probably due to it having a similar color to her hair), so this is just continuing that theme.

Close. It's the S.S. Shepherd from the front. The asterisk is the bars between the window panes.

It's freezing gas, to keep the wearer alive. And the forced-sleep mode thing was partly made up by the US localization.

Much of that report is just planetary stereotypes. It's weird. (Hey, Chet, what are Mihamans like, hm? Don't you want to talk about that too in your official government report?)

Where does the report say 3 and 4 happened at the same time? I keep seeing that people are saying that it does.

The yellow flowers do resemble those of the real world plant "Sleeping Beauty", which first appeared in Pikmin 3 and is used as a decorative element all over promotional materials (websites etc) for Pikmin 4.

Presumably, the writers used the numbers 13 and 15 without worrying about the logic. The Garden bio was since updated to change "13th son of 15 siblings" to "13th of 15 siblings" and "15 siblings" to "many siblings", but it seems the former error slipped into the EN translation before being fixed.

It's a whole mess. In the original JP script of P3, Alph described himself as the 13th son of 15 siblings (also Garden). Most languages dropped the "son", while English made him the 14th presumably to avoid the 13. In P4, Yorke calls Alph his 13th younger brother, while Garden gave Alph 15 siblings.

Pretty sure this is just a weird translation mistake. The Japanese version doesn't mention wings, it just says it flies.

I got it from a text dump, as part of a project, so not a game screenshot, but I hope this suffices. Do take the translation with a grain of salt though.

You might be interested to know that in the Japanese version of Pikmin 1, Olimar just flatly says that the Mamuta's slap reminds him of his wife. No funny anecdote about a mosquito. Just, horrible slap reminds him of his wife. So, um...

If you count the SPEROS as spacecraft, then one of those also visited PNF-404 without crashing.
