The PR/FAQ is great for figuring out what you want and getting feedback from customer-facing folks, but when I’ve tried it with engineering teams they struggled to extrapolate requirements from it. How do folks get dev teams comfortable with that?

It’s been a while since I read an IDC report but they are generally known for being solid on market size and spend data. I would take a closer look at the criteria they used, which are probably spelled out in some detail in the report.

IBM’s AI coding technology has focused on helping folks migrate mainframe code to
Java. You wouldn’t hear about devs using it on 21st-century projects but IBM may still be selling a bundle of it.
