They only meant for it to go for a weekend, but the whole thing got away from them and took on a life of its own.

The Ktiv site is wonderful, but I sometimes wonder if all the metadata is correct. Did you read the Tatalia provenance on the ms itself? Toledo is named Talatulah or something in Arabic, but in Hebrew it mainly seems to have been called תולדות without the reduplication. Interesting!

And definitely not to mix them!

"It's basically ammonia or bleach." ?????
Does he think these are the same? Does he think they go together? Is he perhaps storing them in the same bottles and this explains his opinions?

Not sure if those IDs are accurate, but they are at least explicable as transliterations. Good luck!

Not familiar with these. Do you have any other info? Where were you looking at them?

I once had a pretty productive conversation with a conservative guy by pointing out that states are not rational political units in any sense. In many ways, the Finger Lakes have more in common with WY than with NYC, above and bey the size issue.

Oh, that looks good! I knew about their 2edited volumes on disability and religion but not this one. It sadly looks like our library doesn't have it, though. Unfortunate!

It is a good book in general. One of the first books on blindness I recommend to people.

Exactly!

lol, I think I've trained my parents out of it at this point. My dad reading Andrew Leland's book with the part about the bricked implants helped.

It's like, you know how you can't get tech support for something you bought 3 years ago? Now imagine that's inside your head and no one will take it out

No clear ones that I'm aware of, but I'm far from an expert on art and iconography. You do get images of Marduk or Ninurta battling Tiamat, like this one, so maybe Kingu cameos in one of those?
