It appears one can put a 7 1/4" blade on a 6 1/2" saw if you remove the spring loaded blade guard. Not horrifyingly dangerous at all!
I'm going to try to design and print a new blade guard so it's not quite as evil. I only need this saw for the occasional aluminum sheet cutting, hence the blade.

So, I just started a print for these 4 tiny parts. 0.2mm nozzle. 0.1mm later height. PETG with PLA as support. 0.55 grams of filament in the model.

After picking up a shade that was so long it had to go out my window, I hit a big chunk of concrete that was sitting in the middle of the highway.
It destroyed my tire and my rim.

Had the Xbox controller open again today. This time, replaced the shoulder buttons. In the process, I managed to rip the tiny coaxial connector off the RF board. It wasn't salvageable.
Shit.
Sooo, I replaced the connector and cable with parts from a shade motor.
And it works!!

First initial idea for my bearded Pallas cat VTuber model. I haven't done any drawing in a very looong time, so I'm pretty happy how this turned out. Now gotta add a body, which I think will be kinda renegade mechanic vibe. Think DeNiro in Brazil meets Antifa at a rave during Pride.
