One of the last days of the stormchase in 2022. We followed multiple supercells that day, hoping one of them would produce a tornado. While this supercell was spinning like crazy, a tornado never formed — but the structure and motion were absolutely breathtaking.

In September, there’s often a decent chance of storm development near my hometown in the west of the Netherlands, usually resulting in some late-season lightning photos.
