We ended up with an enormous head of cabbage, so it became my version of a New England boiled dinner. Started with peppers, carrots, onions, Yukon Gold potatoes, smoked sausage, fresh garlic, added homemade chicken stock, bay leaf, thyme, pepper, added the cabbage last.

Who can EVEN take this seriously? How does ANYONE see this and not stifle their laughter?

It’s not “cooking”, but it’s a dreary, dark, rainy day here in NE Oregon. I think a cup of Lady Grey tea with honey and lemon in a cheery cup, is in order.
