You build a bridge obviously. Don't mind my messy work table. The clutter improves work flow, trust me. As does the bag of granola clusters (that yellow bag by the tilted bowl that probably never contained food and was more than likely used to mix plaster, much to my wife's horror.)
A very messy work table cluttered with a variety of different paint brushes, foam scrap, and over loaded shelves stuffed with crafting supplies. And a bridge of styrofoam on a board of insulation foam flanked by two river banks, also made of insulation foam. The banks are stacked four layers deep to match the bridge. The bridge itself is made from packing styrofoam from a tv I got who knows how long ago. Just a different view of the bridge, head on. Also showing a massively cluttered craft table and supplies strewn over all and sundry.

Humble block of foam now painted, washed, dry brushed and some sphagnum moss applied to look like vines cracking the tile. I might have forgot to take some pictures after the initial base coat. Base Coat Modpodge+black paint. Dark Grey brushed over that. Dry brushed light grey. Wash of black.
Humble block of foam, grizzled and battered now slathered in a coat of black paint mixed with modpodge to both give a good base coat and a protective layer. A few steps where missed. But the dungeon tile is now layered with a few shades of grey from dark to light. Dry brushed with an off white to pick up highlights. A dark wash of black ink heavily watered down is applied. Then dry brushed again to pick up highlights. Sphagnum moss is applied to the cracks to make it look like vines have disrupted the tiles. Side view of the dungeon tile, showing that the sides are also painted, textured and disrupted by the moss.

Humble block of foam. Gridded into 3 inch squares to make a 3x3 dungeon tile. Throw in some cracks, gouges and ding it up with a crumpled ball of alumin(i)um foil. All that lovely texture will pick up washes and dry brushes like a champ.
Said humble block of foam is back, sitting lonesome on my table once again. This time the 3 inch square is divided up into 9 one inch squares to make a 3x3 grid pattern. Humble block of foam, now grizzled and battered by having a crumpled ball of aluminum foil rolled across it to give it some texture. Grizzled battered humble block of foam now has some chunks gouged out of it and a few cracks introduced by using a pen to dent the dungeon tile.
