Also last week, I finished the first painting I've ever done outside of a guided painting class. I'm quite happy with the result, and beyond proud of myself for finally doing something I've Petaluma been wanting to do for 10 years. I'm calling it "Whimsy." Hope to brighten up your feed with my art.

Has anyone else increasingly been having apocalyptic dreams? Last night, I dreamt of chemical warfare and having to wear a gas mask until the dust settled. I was very upset about whether or not I could save my cats, and what would happen to all the wild animals. 😬😥 #apocalypse #nightmares

In addition to all the other AWESOME things that happened yesterday, I also scored over 1 million points on my pinball machine for the 1st time. I've had this machine for probably 6 or 7 years now, but I've only recently started playing it frequently, as it is rather difficult. ❤️ #pinball #topscore

Do you ever feel like this administration is trying to bait us into becoming radicalized? They're cutting funding for our beautiful (free) Zoo and Botanical Garden, AND for NPR, and the white-hot rage in me is growing. 🙁

Worked the Earth Day Festival yesterday in St. Louis, and the World Bird Sanctuary was there. That is a REAL bald eagle! She said his name is "Patriot," which us appropriate. 🤩🦅❤️ #worldbirdsanctuary #baldeagle #amazing

It feels really nice to have gotten through the harder part of the week. I'm off work tomorrow and have a mani pedi scheduled, plus I'll be relaxing at home on a rainy day and seeing some friends. I'm working the Earth Day Festival on Saturday, and have a Cardinals game on Sunday. Fun times ahead! 🥳
It's bizarre to me how many people don't realize that "Semi-charmed life" by Third Eye Blind is about crystal meth addiction. It just proves to me that a lot of people don't really listen to what other people say. 😉

If I say something to you in normal conversation in a voice or accent that's different than my own, there's a 90% chance that I'm quoting a movie, song, or video game, and quoting it in the voice of the character that originally said it. I like to recite relevant quotes in normal conversations. 🙂

On Friday, my mom and I played 9 holes of golf and got a delicious dinner afterwards. It was the most fun we've had on a golf course in quite some time. I was shooting pretty inconsistently, but still managed to hit two pars and my FIRST BIRDIE OF THE YEAR! 💪😁⛳️🏌♂️❤️ I love my mom.

We agreed to foster her on this day in 2020 because the shelter where I volunteer was having their sewer line replaced and needed to temporarily rehome all their animals. Foster fail!
