But could there be a more perfect coda to Brexit than eMBugGA?

Fuck off using *any* electricity to 'mine Bitcoin'. Waste our planet's precious resources needlessly - *needlessly* - to conjure up a pretend scarce financial instrument?

Bitcoin has an appallingly destructive design. It needs caught & killed.

Well, it stays moister in plastic; but is less prone to mould in paper.

Bread freezes so well it's worth freezing half of a fresh loaf (in plastic!) so its better a few days later after you finish the rest.

You know you can revive stale bread with a skoosh of water before you toast it, right?

How much money do the cable operators pay Ireland for using Irish waters?

Swim.

It's easier on your joints. It's full-body. It's aerobic, which is more important to health than muscle strength. And it engages your focus - if you don't pay attention, you drown.

My biggest takeaways are America's breathtaking naivete in setting up this anonymous global media ecosystem, and its failure popularly to see it for what it is.

It sold its republic for a pocketful of change.

You're pulling my leg now, eh, Pratchett-lover?

Aglio, olio e peperoncino?

Love me some good Indian, or aop.

Then again, my usual ingredients for chicken are: chicken, salt. It's about drying the chicken in the fridge before roasting, and 2/3 of the time breast down, 1/3 breast up. The flavour of chicken is a gift from the gods.

Spicy hurts, it's not really for kids.

Pizza is not your food, American.

You have your air fryers, Scots have our oil oven. Deal!
November 22, 2025 at 10:27 AM
Hmm. What's the standard temperature for a freezer in someone's home? I mean, what temperature can you be definitely assured a pizza taken out of it will be?

"9-16mins" looks perfect advice to me. "it'll take about this long, but you have to look & judge for yourself"?

Are these shortcrust or hot water crust?

Also if you use a ceramic gratin dish you can do boulangere or dauphinoise with ~20 mins in the microwave & a flash grilling (aka broiling if you speak funny)

Ah-hah. You like your dough on the dry side?

That oughta do it :)

What's with these rolls, are they yeasted or baking powder?

I finished this one with oil, too. Zelkovia with neodimium magnets behind iirc, maple. That Zelkovia's a swine to sand lol
November 11, 2025 at 6:11 AM
Thanks. I thought it looked a bit shiny for oil alone.
