That is truly unfortunate to hear about. Here in Zambia, at least for now, the birthrate is fine but that is mostly due to low literacy rates and very large social pressure to have children whether or not you are able to afford the time, energy and money to raise them.

It is a bit like how younger people are increasingly relying more and more on generative AI to do basic information gathering since it is more efficient and as a result they are losing the ability to research effectively. It is very sad to see. I just don't understand. Perhaps I'm getting old lol /3

I believe that the discovery of a work you like through the trial and error of reading a bunch of stuff with no idea of what to expect. I feel that this whole emphasis on efficiency amongst young people will have a negative effect on society as a whole. /2

Hmm. I like this insight. It makes sense. Although it does make me a bit sad at the state of young people. Even if it may feel like a waste of time to read something you didn't end up liking I believe there is still value in the experience you had reading that work. /1

You know, I've never understood this recent trend among japanese authors to make the title of your series basically the same as the synopsis as well. I wonder what could possibly be the cause of this🤔 any ideas Sensei?

You are not alone sensei ❤️ There are a lot of us who are not happy with what recently happened. It is always good to speak out against what is obviously a clear violation of international law. Even if it falls on deaf ears.

I agree completely sensei. It has also been quite disheartening to see the mainstream news media parroting the same talking points from the leadership with no criticism/skepticism at all. It is like they learned nothing from the last time this happened back in 2003 with the Iraq invasion 😔

Since I love your style I would personally reach out to you for any tips on how to make my drawings look as similar to your style as possible if I were learning to draw. I see no reason to turn to generative AI. It's nothing but a sophisticated plagiarism machine.

I don't know much either. All I do is watch so from my very limited expertise, I can pretty much guarantee you would be proud of an anime adaptation from any one of the studios I mentioned above. Except Queen Bee. They suck 🤣 Take care and Merry Christmas Sensei ❤️

Exactly!!! It doesn't even have to be "My Mother Became My Friend's Girlfriend". You have plenty of fantastic work that deserves to be made into an anime. Twin Milf, Gal Boss and the Harem office, Kayoizu Mama and Milk Teacher just to name a few. /1

Hmm. That makes sense too. I sometimes get a similar "loss" of motivation that manifests as lethargy. Especially on large projects whose completion timeline is measured in months instead of the usual hours/days that I am used to so I can somewhat relate. Thank you for your hard work Sensei ❤️

It would be considered production(Drawing) and distribution(Broadcast on a Livestream) of obscene material which is illegal here. Consumption/purchasing is neither legal nor illegal. Except for where international law applies like things where children are involved.

That is how I see it at least. Thank you for yet another stunning set of pages sensei. I was surprised to see that you were drawing pages with Mikie's *stuff* on the stream. I really thought such pages would be done offline. Zambian law would never allow me to do that. Even with censorship.

I have noticed that this update has 7 pages instead of the usual 6 pages. That could be the reason why this update was a close call. There is probably a rhythm you have obtained from doing 6 pages at a time for the last few updates and doing 7 pages for this update somewhat disrupted that rhythm.

Although lately prices seem to be stagnating and in some cases, reducing. Probably because 2026 is an election year for us and the president is trying to be reelected. I'm thankful everyday that I have such a good paying job or I would be suffering too. Only complaint is working 60hrs/week lol. /2

Wow. So these price hikes are actually happening everywhere? I thought it was just here in Zambia. The price of Corn Meal, a key ingredient in our staple food has tripled in the last year. Other groceries have also seen similar price hikes. It's pretty bad. /1

I'm looking forward to the day when you feel confident enough to make a proper manga from this. It would honestly be a waste to see such terrific character designs not be used. Even if it means waiting over a year for chapter 6 of "Haha ga Tomo Kano ni Natta node" which is my personal favorite.
