Absolutely epic end of the tour show. First PJ show for my 17 yr old. Told him he might never see a better concert. From leading off with Garden to ending with Yellow Ledbetter/Little wing just a blast.

Take your bonus days. My college kid had no afternoon classes so I said let’s go skiing on a random Thursday afternoon. A lot of things suck right now but not that. Nothing lasts forever, not the good stuff or the bad stuff so grab as much good as you can because that’s what gets you through.

Only Monday and everything sucks. Instead of going all in on doom, I’ll post this. My college kid got a couple of extra days off thanks to 4 ft of lake effect snow (hello Erie) and my mom taught him how to make baked Alaska. It was fantastic.

First social media post ever. Kids had a long weekend a couple of weeks ago. Grabbed my 15 year old and said let’s run away and see Lake Placid. Saw the Olympic sites (very cool) but this random hike we took on a whim turned out to be the best thing we did.
