Feels like there’s a lot of square pegs in round holes currently. Will definitely take a few transfer windows for Amorin to get a squad he really likes.

P.s. captaining Saka wasn’t a bold move - was a complete accident 🫣. When your luck’s in…

Goal and an assist - I’ll take that. Hopefully Salah doesn’t bag a hat trick tomorrow…

And they said you were crazy

Doubled up with the fact Chelsea’s defenders have practically zero attacking threat - even from set pieces. Hard avoid.

While ignoring the fact half your team got 2 pointers 😂

Whatever decision I make, I’m sure the one on the bench will haul. The trials and tribulations of FPL 😂

Was between Wissa and Mbuemo for me. Wissa on better form arguably but Mbuemo penalties…tough choice

Dilemma of my own: who would you bench in this team?
November 22, 2024 at 6:14 PM
Johnson v Ederson I reckon! Without Kovacic, think City’s midfield is gonna be wide open. Meanwhile, think Arsenal’s physicality might neutralise Wood’s threat!
November 22, 2024 at 6:14 PM
Yeah that makes sense - didn’t realise Raya was close to a price drop! Just think the combo of Raya & Gvardiol will likely get you more points this week, and then you can consider getting rid of Gvardiol for Gabriel another week.

Depends if you want City defensive coverage long term though!
November 22, 2024 at 5:06 PM
I’d agree - think your attack looks more than strong enough for this week. But double City defence is a risk against Spurs. Would you consider Ederson to Raya? Allows you to keep Gvardiol, who offers more of a goal threat.

Kovacic being out is definitely an issue for City as a collective. Interesting to see how they manage that.

But can’t help but feel, for Haaland as an individual asset, De Bruyne being back trumps Kovacic being out. What do you think?
November 22, 2024 at 3:12 PM
Any concerns benching Semenyo? That Brighton defence does leave a lot of space!
November 22, 2024 at 12:45 PM
I think that would make me want to captain him more! How often do City score 3 goals and Haaland doesn’t get any?
November 22, 2024 at 12:44 PM
This is my current set up but don’t know who to bench out of Cunha, Wissa, Mbuemo and Semenyo! Who would you bench?
November 22, 2024 at 11:36 AM
Yeah agree with that. Wonder what the plan is with Reece. Play him conservatively for the full season or start ramping it up as the season progresses? Either way, just hope he can stay fit.

Do you think we’d ever see a lineup with Reece, Gusto AND Cucurella, with Reece operating in one of the fixed midfield positions? Remember Reece had some good performances there under Tuchel.
