I came in 15th overall all which Im happy with. Its my highest ranking at a Southern Assault so far. My group was brain storming the entire way home & I think we have some great ideas both individually & as a group for next year. This is the display diaroma I made and the force I used #battletech

Game 2. I thought i was gonna lose for half the game but when it flipped in my favor it flipped hard. I nearly tabled the guy but couldn't clinch that last unit on the last turn. It was a lot of fun #battletech

We've taken to using these explosion markers for each unit death each turn in alpha strike. It's makes for some dynamic end of round pics. #battletech

#battletech Playtest this evening. Im not sure the ability to focus fire on a side torso more effectively under the proposed rules changes is that big a deal on initial impressions to this one game. Definitely reserving my final opinion on it up until I get more games but initial impressions are 🤷♀️

That locust was the MVP of the game. Survived an absolutely statistically impossible to survive round of fire. The dice gods spoke for him. #battletech

Folks'll post picture of their minis that are darker than Cthulhu's soul and the comments will be like "great job", "such good blending", "man, Im so jealous of your skills", etc... The emperor has no clothes, my guy. What are you talking about? You cant make out enough detail to genuinely comment

A few games of Alpha Strike going on today for our very loose Hinterlands campaign. Alpha Strike allows us to get 2 campaign games in an afternoon rather then the standard 1. We are playing with the idea of growing it to be both Alpha Strike and Classic so we will see what happens. #battletech
