Ooh, that sounds like a pretty good feature. I can see it being misused, but in most cases it's probably pretty good.

There are apparently two other ways, but they require diverting to different cities (though one just mirrors the train). And then on top of that, only the one that diverts farther is actually tracked on the transit app (which is an amazing tool), so I can't even see where it is or how full it is.

Like my options to go visit my friends in the next town over are a train that only goes to the city in the mornings (before I normally get up if I were to try to catch busses to reach the last departure), or a once an hour overcrowded highway bus.

I mean I want to see more busses in my town, large parts of the residential neighbourhoods are only covered by busses that run before and after school. And the intercity transit to get to the nearby bigger city is dogshit, just a single bus or a out in the morning back in the evening train.

While it is true, I doubt north america is going to pivot to better public transit in the near future. Car culture is too ingrained.

Like I wish it wasn't, I would love to see more bike lanes and busses and intercity transit near me. But people like their cars too much.

Yeah, and it's even worse living out west. I get not having any here in BC, mountains aren't conducive to rail. But could we at least have it to Alberta and then have consistent transit from there across the Rockies?

I've seen people with feeds of their own posts. Not sure how making a feed works, but you could look into that?
