I'm not entirely sure whats an example of a fighting game that kids don't like but adults do. In the space I'm in, they all grew up playing fighting games, and they still enjoy the same game played back then. It seems like it's just inherently enjoyable to watch flashy moves in response to buttons.

Man, this popped off in a way I wasn't expecting. Couple things to note, I was dumb and missed it was a rhetorical question, and that was definitely a more cynical take during a moment of depression. I still think marketing is important, my pending change was from wanting to help in other ways.

Marketing people are hired to do one of two things.

1) Make big but bogus promises that screws everyone.

2) Provide professional opinions and advice as a service, only to be ignored and given no budget but be told to make a huge impact because kids have done it on TikTok.
