These were the Blazers’ City and Statement uniforms the last time Damian Lillard played for us.

There’s a metaphor in here about treading water and refusing to move on.

Post a perfect album from the 90’s that isn’t Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden or Alice In Chains.

First game action for the new Icon uniforms. How are we feeling #RipCity?

Better? Worse? Surprised? Disappointed? Didn't notice?

Looks like 8 national tv broadcasts next season might have been too few.

Have I mentioned yet how good the social media graphics have been so far this summer?

Because they’re cooking.

As for the schedule? This is shaping up nicely for a post-ASG playoff push.

Oh I hope he takes this the other direction here.

I want a Trail Blazers jersey for once. Long overdue!

“Celtics plan to start Payton Pritchard and bring Anfernee Simons off the bench after trading starter Jrue Holiday.”

For anyone taking this as evidence that Ant shoulda come off the bench for the Blazers, this rationale is identical to the rationale that led to Simons starting for the Blazers.

15 of our first 25 on the road makes for some nice home cooking in the last 2/3 of the season.

2026 is gonna be a good year 🔥

There's enough money in this list of names to build a half dozen NBA arenas and yet their solution is to ask YOU and ME to lobby OUR elected leaders to spend OUR tax dollars on a new basketball arena?

Nope. Not happening. Not a solution.

Cut the check, Chris Dudley.

I'm out of Blazers moving to Seattle takes for the day. It's gonna be a long five years, I need to pace myself and protect my mental.

Instead, how about a couple more picks of the new uniforms?
July 31, 2025 at 9:16 PM
I (obviously) love my Blazers, but this should be a bright RED FLAG for all Portlanders.

1. SB 110 IS NOT a jock tax. It's a tax subsidy for private development.

2. The Blazers don't need a new arena.

3. Portland can not allow itself to be shaken down for a "substantial ask" of public funds.

Y’all acting like you never seen a Blazers jersey without contrasting collar trim.

This is our most worn uni of the last 3 years.

No jersey sponsor… hmmm? What happened to Brightside Windows?
July 29, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Fun thing about removing the collar and arm trim from the new Blazers uniforms...
If they just add the diagonal sash to the front of this, you can finally get a truly accurate jersey tee.

The statement uniforms of recent years have done this. Dropped the silver, dropped the trim, punched up the red.

It's a flag-like way of designing a uniform and I like it... but it comes with added risk. The more you strip away, the more weight is carried by what remains.

In that respect, the Blazers new look is an upgrade. Simplifying the sash, removing an extraneous third color, and dropping the contrasting trim is going to punch up the impact of what remains.

Red. Black. White. Sash. Period.

That's the identity. That's Rip City.

But contrast that with Cleveland's take on minimalism. It took some getting used to, but it's clean... and it looks good on the court.

I get it. It was fun. It still seems dated to me. It also seems (in Utah's case esp) like an over correction to the minimalism.

Utah's rebrand sucked for a lot of reasons, but minimalist design wasn't the (main) issue. It was a leap in the wrong direction of the franchise's history.
