Rate hikes, like all other inflation, is a one-way trip. Once companies see the bottom line increase they will never go back. If their costs go down, that will just fatten the bottom line. That said, I do hope these measures at least flatten the hockey stick curve we have seen recently.

No one person or entity in the US should be allowed to get rich enough to hire their own mercenaries. Security detail, fine. Mercenary army, no. He arguably has enough money to do this, and so do other people/entities. Our gov’t needs to keep that in check. That is gov’t 101.

When the sales numbers come in for Tesla and Starlink this time around, it is not going to be pretty. Anyone buying Tesla stock right now is a shill or a moron. Insiders are dumping it.

This is interesting, but I think his daughters would be just fine if they were fired from their jobs. They could get some other nice cushy job at some other corporation. More likely some other kind of threat or intimidation directly at Schumer. Or, he really believes this is the right path. 🤷♂️
