If you’re on the Odin journey too, drop a comment: What’s been your most unexpected lesson so far?

Don’t freak out if something takes you ages to grasp. Read all the docs it’ll pay off.

Study daily, even if it’s just an hour. If you truly want it, you’ll find more time.

Be warned: solving Odin projects gets addictive! 😎😁

The toughest parts? Implementing brand-new knowledge into real projects.

I had to revisit old lessons multiple times but that’s when real learning happens.

Each obstacle burns itself into your memory, making the next project easier.

I didn’t expect to learn so much about Git.

Odin dives deep branches, merges, you name it.

I don’t think any other course covers Git this well, and it’s made me far more confident collaborating on real projects.

The Discord channel is gold, not just for quick help, but as a social media “replacement” that’s actually productive.

If you’re going to scroll, might as well scroll somewhere you can learn something new, right? 😃

Test-driven development (TDD) seemed scary at first.
But after a solid month of practice, I see how it shapes better code.

It forces me to plan classes and methods before typing anything.

Highly recommend if you want cleaner, more organized programs. 😉

I finally get how OOP works (like, really get it).

Odin gives you plenty of projects to sharpen those skills.

They throw so many lessons at you that you have to master OOP before moving on.

It’s a steep climb, but it pays off.

Odin helped me plan my days more effectively which meant no more tutorial hell! 😎

I learned to read everything carefully and actually practice.

It’s not always fun, but it beats endless YouTube videos that never stick. Believe me!

I chose the Ruby/Rails path because I want to launch my own apps (and eventually turn a profit).

Rails is famously quick for a solo dev. Plus, Odin is free and structured very well so I figured it was the best place to level up fast.

I found myself wanting to scroll page up while I'm reading paper book :D
