Good news: they hot-fixed this issue with the latest update. You'll only lose cargo, Bounty Items, salvage and fish from trawling, so you'll keep the cannonballs and repair kits between transport

Definitely one of my frustrations with Sailing.
I get making sure players don't bottle their ship and just teleport between ports for Courier tasks, but its frustration you can't transport your ship with magic or bottle between ports with anything in the cargo holds.

The rock symbolizes the Mountain Tribe's refusal to use magic altgeother. They even disapprove of the Seer employed by the Fremennik Tribe.
I guess they would disapprove of living near a Runecrafting altar.
