At least 12,000 Lapwing are now present in the #LDV along with 750+ Dunlin and over 6,000 Teal @yorkbirding.bsky.social
The WeBS count at the weekend produced totals of 15,732 wildfowl alongside 17,117 waders in the #LDV - total of 32,849 birds. The figures are likely to be an undercount though due to the extreme flooding limiting access to just the edges of the site & key viewing locations @yorkbirding.bsky.social
