While I wouldn't say the segment was good, the easter segment was freaky as hell and so weird that it stuck with me and that's certainly something, and not necessarily a bad something, but something.

Obviously there's nuance to the statement, not cutting funding to security and infrastructure, just all the small enhancements that burns money that the general population needs more than ever which will inevitably be available to the world in one way or another whether "we" do it or "they" do.

Is it worth the next space race? Are we not comfortable enough? Were we not comfortable enough in the 90s? 2000s? I for one would be happy enough with some stagnation in tech. Less ewaste, less cell carrier upgrades, just....less.
