It's crazy to me that collage software development classes need advocates for Linux and it's not assumed. Then again, my college didn't introduce core skills like GIT until jr year...

Usually the grey screen is the headset trying to cover for tracking anomalies, so the first things I'd do is reboot the base stations and check they are functioning, wipe down the surface of the headset, rerun the room setup, and see if bending the tether cable around pinch points does anything
