The first Gen is SUPER easy. You'll probably want to pick up an RCM jig (shorts a couple lines inside the joycon rail to let it go into RCM mode).
Beyond that, it's literally just loading a custom os file onto your SD card, plugging in your phone and using an app to send the payload.
