A few comments here, but the main one:

If their ICE / National Guard / Domestic Military Deployment intimidation tactics don’t work…

they’ll have gerrymandered districts as a fallback position…

and if that fails they’ll have fake electors as a second fallback position…

and if that fails they’ll have J6 v.2 as a third fallback position (that’s also due to abuse of pardon authority).

Can someone please tell me how does this not end in unrestrained authoritarianism, revolution, or civil war? They’re removing every legal avenue to resist authoritarianism, and effectively removing consequences for ANY illegal action to circumvent the constitution.

Mind boggling. The founding fathers allowed the pardon power to be absolute because the intended remedy was impeachment. They didn’t think the majority of House and Senate members would idly sit on their hands watching such egregious abuse of power, and even encouraging it. They were so sadly and gravely mistaken.

She is currently awaiting her deportation hearing at an ICE detention center

Newton, in his remote jungle commune at Jonestown, Guyana on November 18, 1978, including the assassination of U.S. congressman Leo Ryan. Jones and the events that occurred at Jonestown have had a defining influence on society's perception of cults.

I know by this point it has become soo common, it is casual conversation with these supporters. The severity is just disgusting. His full intention was to beat and rape this girl.

Excerpt from the above article:

Prosecutors said the victim told investigators that Banuelos "hit her in the face and told her he was going to kill her. Banuelos then grabbed her by the shirt and dropped her on the floor, causing her to hit her head. (The victim) recalled feeling like Banuelos was going to kill her."

The victim also told police that Banuelos sexually accosted her, the court documents say. The victim told investigators, "Banuelos was aggressively kissing her and punched her in the head. She said when she tried to punch him back, he got 'really angry,'" according to the charging documents from prosecutors. The charging papers also said the victim said that Baneulos "grabbed her shorts, pulled them off, and threw her, causing her whole body to fly in the air."

The charging documents allege Banuelos strangled the victim, who told investigators he "used a pressure of '10 out of 10' for a couple of seconds. (The victim) said that while strangling her, he told her that she was 'gonna be quiet' and she thought she was 'gonna die.'"

Former Trump White House chief of staff John Kelly is blasting his onetime boss over disparaging remarks he says the then-president repeatedly made about service members and veterans and for what he called Trump's untruthfulness about his positions on various groups as well as on abortion.

In a statement to CNN published Monday, Kelly delivered a scathing criticism of former President Donald Trump while confirming reporting in The Atlantic in 2020 that detailed the comments he made during his presidency.

"A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them,'" Kelly said of Trump. "A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family — for all Gold Star families — on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.”
