We had a local win on a Saturday then they showed up Sunday hoping to play whoever got a bye each round. We had an even number of players and every time people dropped, they dropped in even numbers so they just got to sit around and chat in between rounds. Would have been cool for them to play.

I feel you. I was pumped for pirates but watching this trailer didn't get anything going for me. At least expansion slot should provide a good meta shakeup.
