Bridge anvil base is complete! The tolerance was super tight and I had to press fit the anvil in. 🤣😆

Joshua Tree NP roadtrip in my Syncro Vanagon. Took the Pentax 67 and shot lots of film. Had a great time. Want to do a Salton Sea/Slab City trip next.

National Supply Company 381lb (172.8kg) oil field bridge anvil. Cleaned up, rust removed & 1st oil coat on. Will wire brush again and put another coat of oil. Decided to leave “patina” as is and not paint. Welding up a steel base this weekend.
