Look guys. I do make actual, non-abomination meads.

This is a yeast taste tester of Red Star Premier Blanc with nothing but tannins added.

Still tastes very young at <1 month old. Very sharp. But I like it.

Finished up a special mead for a friends wedding/togethering.

The bochet is called "Tre-Bochet Straight Into My Soul". The second mead is just a mead called Basic Bitch which is just a basic mead.

- Cold brew coffee (Highland Grog Sprouts brand)
- Local honey for brewing
- Lalvin EC1118 yeast
- Maple syrup to back sweeten

Little known fact: if you boil Jelly Belly jelly beans (or any jelly bean I guess) to make a syrup, it will strip out all the wax. This leaves you with the Forbidden Boba: they look horrifying like insect larva and are very jiggly.

Collector Edition Dayquils go to whoever claims them or whoever is slowest in claiming one.

A question on frugality:

Do I keep an old Stubbs BBQ sauce bottle and do like micro-meads (.25 gallons) if only because I have some No8 bungs that don't fit and will never fit any regular mead brewing containers?
