Do you know why they use the age groupings they do? I understand it being a yale youth poll would put more emphasis on the young, but when I see different numbers of years being compressed it always sets off alarm bells that I'm being manipulated.

I'm not good at chess, but there are games I'm very very good at, and the better I get at those games, the more I'm convinced everyone is awful. I assume the same applies here.

While watching the first 4 episodes (spoilers past episode 2) I was like 'this is too obvious, whats the twist going to be'. I settled on, 'Henry' isn't 'Vekna', he is some last vestige of humanity trying to stop Vekna... but that really doesn't seem to be the case by the end of episode 4.

Outside of having Star in their title and both existing in space some amount of the time, there is actually very little in common between the two franchises.

Pretty sure it's more of a space marine 40k reference (which yes has plenty of Nazi allusions, they aren't meant to be the good guys).

I didn't watch the video, the article I read said reboot. Perhaps it was using the term loosely.

I'm pretty skeptical of a reboot. I'll still watch the first season, but I think a lot of what I love about the tv universe isn't contained in it's premise.

Carney was ultimately much more fiscally conservative than Trudeau (just not the reactionary explicitly racist kind of conservative that was the alternative). I don't think his win was merely on the back of throwing out someone unpopular.

Almost none of these are appropriate for a casual setting. Most of these would take over 2 hours to play with new players. Codenames is probably appropriate if you expect groups of 6-8.

My play group is still working through the official Gaia Project expansion, but when that runs out of steam I'll have to give the fan factions a try.

I don't even know if its true in this case. Movies or shows often have to substantially condense the content in a book. Murderbot season 1 is nearly 1 for 1 in content and length.
