Butterscotch, my semi-feral cat, loves to be on me or next to me when he's inside, which is such a change. But he's still got that itch to go outside daily. Tonight, I discovered he likes organic blue corn chips. Who knew? 😁

I feel your pain! This is the longest Butterscotch has ever stayed inside during the day. It's 30 degrees outside, so I hope he stays inside. He's semi-feral and a 6-year work- in-progress.

I've now got Butterscotch sitting on my lap in the evening. It only took 6 years to get here from a completely untouchable feral boy. ❤️🐱

I have used homegrown catnip in a cardboard scratching box, and on the toy and he doesn't pay any attention to either. Never tried scratching in the box at all. He's a hard-sell for sure. 😁

Did your feral know what to do with the litterbox? This is Butterscotch and I'm trying to get him to stay inside more but he has no clue about the litterbox. I've tried the powder stuff but it did nothing. I added some dirt, but it did nothing. He still goes outside to do his business.

Meet Butterscotch, our neighborhood feral character. I've been feeding him for 5+ years, allowed to pet him for a year, and have gotten him inside my house for a few hours every day for about 5 months. He has no clue what a litter box is for.
