Not telling anyone how to feel btw. I completely relate to the fatigue with the “cute thing turn scary” shit everything is doing right now, and if KOG is part of that to you that’s perfectly fine! But oh my god I think it’s really good. And it sucks to see people dismiss it just at first glance

To me it’s different from the others because like… it’s very open about what it is from the start?? Like the show being dark doesn’t feel like it’s fucking up a perfectly fine premise or forcing you to sit through an obvious plot twist. And I get the impression it’s been planned beyond cheap scares
