The book is pretty good! I read it every few years. The animated TV special has always been one of my favs. It’s how I got into reading Bradbury‘s work as a kid.

My favorite Halloween story is that Ray Bradbury was so offended by the Great Pumpkin he wrote his own TV special which then became one of my favorite books from him “the Halloween Tree” 😋

I wish you were even an hour closer!! Just out of range for an easy visit. That sound like such a fun evening.

Arthur is so good. It was one of the few kids shows my liked. They were very good at throwing in things for older audidences.

I have a hard time watching it now because the sequence in the middle with the real kids was filmed locally so it’s literally my childhood 🤣

I used to! It was a tardis and played the dr who theme when it opened but it was cheap and broke after a few years. Been keeping my eye out for a nice ceramic one.

Cooked cabbage is one of my favorite vegetables. Really good with butter noodles too 🤤
